A few months ago, 10-year-old Jiya from Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, began experiencing severe stomach aches that refused to subside. What initially seemed like a common health issue soon turned into a serious concern when the pain worsened. Her mother, Pooja, took her for medical tests and a CT scan, only to receive devastating news: Jiya was diagnosed with a malignant germ cell tumour of the right ovary.

Since then, Jiya’s life has changed completely. The cheerful days of childhood have been replaced with hospital visits, tests, and uncertainty. Doctors at Dharamshila Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Delhi (7.1km from Anand Vihar Terminal Railway Station), have advised surgery followed by two cycles of adjuvant chemotherapy, offering hope for her recovery.

Jiya lives with her mother and siblings because her father, Sonu, does not live with them. Pooja works as a maid, earning a small income that barely supports the family of four. With limited resources and growing responsibilities, arranging the Rs. 10,00,000 (Rupees Ten Lakh Only) required for treatment feels overwhelming.

Despite everything, Jiya continues to fight with quiet courage. With timely medical care and support, she has a chance to overcome this illness and return to a life filled with laughter, strength, and hope.
